Our Story

In 2001 Bob Strong left his senior executive role in telecommunications and invested £60,000 to launch Sweet Causes Limited which includes Charity Sweets, their in-house brand of confectionary. After much sweat and tears, late nights and long weekends Sweet Causes now operate across the whole UK, employing over 100 people and have donated over £2m to charities including Mencap, Teenage Cancer Trust, Breast Cancer Now and Children’s Air Ambulance. The business now supports 7 varying charities and Bob continues to support many other causes outside the business.
